Abdominal Surgery at Darbhanga in 1896

The subjoined cases, consisting of ten ovariotomies and two splenectomies, represent the most important operations performed at the Darbhanga Hospitals in 1896. Of the former, seven were operated on by myself, with six recoveries; my Assistant-Surgeon, Babu Nobin Chunder Dutt, being responsible with my assistance, for the remaining three, all of which recovered. The splenectomies, both of which were successful, were performed by me. ?
